Today, Indian Development Foundation (IDF) distributed 252 Project Dignity Kits to 9th Standard girl students of R.V. Girls School, Jayanagar, Bangalore helping young girls access essential menstrual hygiene products and information.

The kits were generously sponsored by Marlabs Innovations Pvt. Ltd., whose continued support is helping IDF promote dignity, health and well-being among adolescent girls.

The distribution was complemented by an engaging and interactive awareness session on Menstrual & Personal Hygiene, conducted by Ms. Vismita and Ms. Tejaswini, Clinical Psychologists from Inner World Counseling for Mental Well-Being.

The session provided a safe and informative space for the students to learn, openly discuss and clarify their doubts about menstruation and personal hygiene. The curious questions raised by the students reflected their eagerness to understand and learn, while the valuable inputs shared by the resource persons helped dispel misconceptions and build greater awareness and confidence.

Through Project Dignity, IDF strives to ensure that every adolescent girl receives not only access to menstrual hygiene products, but also the knowledge, confidence and dignity to manage her menstrual health with care.
